The following is a summary of the most important points of the
disclosure document . Before we can do business, you will be
required to review the entire disclosure document and sign that you
have read it.
Brokerage Account
Clients will be required to have, or to open an account with a
Futures Commission Merchant ("FCM") prior to commencing activities
with GrowthPoint. Clients may choose their own FCM with which
they will maintain their accounts and may (but are not required)
choose an introducing broker of their choice. |
Trading Program
We make our trade decisions
based on market indicators including the Volatility Index
("VIX"), how many days remain before contract expiration and
other factors such as support and resistance levels.
Trades are typically classified as “Iron Condors” and variants
thereof. These trades are classified as credit spreads and
do not involve the sale of naked calls and puts. The key to the success
of this system is very careful risk management. We do not
day-trade or engage in market timing. We trade futures options
on the following indexes: S&P, Down Jones Mini, DAX, FTSE,
STOXX. Our current focus is exclusively on the S&P. |

Fees
Our fees consist of two components: an annual management
fee and a performance fee.
Both fees are based on net (post commission) profit.
Management Fee: 2%
Performance Fee: 20%
The management and performance fees are assessed and due on a
monthly basis. Invoices are submitted through your FCM.
For additional details on how fees are calculated and assessed,
please refer to our
disclosure document .

The risk of loss in trading
commodity futures and options can be substantial. Before
trading, you should carefully consider your financial position
to determine if futures trading is appropriate. When trading
futures and/or options, it is possible to lose the full balance
of your account. It is also possible to lose more than your
initial deposit when trading futures and/or granting/writing
options. As a result, selling/writing "naked" options exposes
the seller/writer to the possibility of margin calls and
virtually unlimited risk. All funds committed should be purely
risk capital. Past performance is no guarantee of future trading
results. |
|
Account Minimums
The minimum investment is $100,000. The account minimum may be
waived for a trial period.
